Tip#06

Tip#06

These are the grains we always use in the loft, high in protein content, more peas, saff, peanut, small seeds etc.

Why??? In the style of our racing in the Philippines, apart from the extreme heat, it always smash, protein feeds can help a lot.

Protein feeds add extra fuel to the bird's body.

Corn feeds are good for speed only because they contain high carbohydrates and sugar that is quickly depleted during the race unlike protein.

So you can hear from the fancier that I will "burden" the bird, crossing or far away, that means they will have a protein load.

There are only 2 bird feedings, the light mix or carbo mix of corn, trigo, sorghum, this is for the sprint race, fast but fading away.

High protein, heavy, slow bird, but reliable at the end.
